Drawing practice

Drawing practice with the girlfriend. We picked random pictures from the net and sat almost silently for an hour or so.

One winged angel

This is the second go at a painting I originally produced on a sheet of hardboard. I loved the imigery but not the finish of the original, hence the new version.

Bird sketches

These are some sketches produced in a small series purely out of boredom.

There may have been a power-cut or something.

Black Panther

This was painted for a friend who's favourite animal is the Black Panther. I had Jungle Book music in my head at the time.

Orangutans

These two were produced in two evenings. These I still own despite the unexpeted demand for them.

Just like the rest of my work, there is no hidden meaning and they weren't produced to have one, take them as you will.

Sketch

I was asked to draw this from a photo to be used as a tattoo. Maybe the picture I've drawn isn't tattoo friendly but I thoroughly enjoyed drawing it.

Dolphin

This painting was a request from a work colleague for his girlfriends birthday. I hadn't ever tried doing marine life before so I enjoyed the challenge. She was pleased which is the main outcome I was looking for.

White Tiger

This is another piece I haven't had the heart to let go of. It needs to find the right home I guess
